Presented by Matthew Sharp | Tickets are free and available on the door with a retiring collection.

Making Music Visual is the culmination concert of a cross-arts project between the Northern Chamber Orchestra, Accent Music Education Hub and schools across Warrington and Halton.

Accent MEH has worked in partnership with the Northern Chamber Orchestra, MMU, local artists and 6 schools (3 secondary, 3 primary) with approximately 120 students aged 10 – 16 to support the development of Music and Dance composing and performance skills in response to Copland’s Appalachian Spring. A year-long programme has resulted in the creation of an eighth movement. Students from Weston Primary, Penketh South and Newchurch Primary schools will respond to the performance tonight through the realisation of digital Art, thus embracing the theme of ‘Making Music Visual’. Students from Culcheth and Penketh High Schools have composed the eighth movement, with students from the Heath School, Halton responding to the music through contemporary dance.
