Full season of concerts announced by Northern Chamber Orchestra between September 2021 and May 2022
The Northern Chamber Orchestra has announced details of its stunning 2021-22 season, which sees performances across the North West along with streaming options. Tickets are on sale from Monday 19th July.
The orchestra is the oldest professional chamber ensemble in the North West, and has today announced its return to the live stage. Taking in venues in Manchester and Cheshire, including a new series for the NCO at Storyhouse in Chester, the season features a host of international classical music stars. Joining the NCO for its opening concert is pianist Steven Osborne, who plays Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, and the orchestra is also joined by other guest soloists including principal oboe of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra John Roberts and principal horn of the BBC Philharmonic, Ben Hulme. Violinist Chloë Hanslip, guitarist Craig Ogden and cellist Raphael Wallfisch make up the stellar guest soloist line up.
