Around the World

Around the world is a fully inclusive project for all years of primary school, nursery/reception to year 6.

Every class receives a whole morning or afternoon session working with the NCO musicians on their set country, including creative games, demonstrations of instruments and full use of percussion instruments. Singing is a major part of this project and it is expected that teachers support the sessions with art work, cross curricular material from their specific country and take part in the music sessions.

The project runs for a week the last day taking the form of a rehearsal and concert for whole school, parents and teachers.

Instrumentalists

Anyone who plays an instrument can be used in this project if planned in advance.
